On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets: An Empirical Study
This is a study made at MIT to check if aluminum foil helmets really work. The goal was to find out, if one can use these helmets to effectively prevent the wearer from being mind controlled. The scientists have come to the conclusion that these helmets are not suitable for preventing mind control. Quite contrary: They believe that these devices can even amplify mind control attempts.

REBUTTAL TO THE MIT ANTI-AFDB STUDY
There even is a rebuttal of the said MIT study about tin foil helmets (see link above). Besides this article, the whole site "Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie" is quite interesting.
